Rollingrock slowly woke. He felt stiff everywhere. His legs seemed to be frozen in one position, and his head felt fuzzy, as though it had been stuffed with cut grass. He groaned and lifted his head blinking the haze out of his eyes. His stomach felt remarkably empty, and it growled. His mouth and eyes felt dry, and Rollingrock blinked again as he looked around himself.
"What?" he said. There was sand under his belly and his paws. He pushed himself up into a standing position and shook, then began the arduous task of cleaning the sand out of his long fur, tugging at the clumps where it seemed to be matted. "What is this place?" he asked, looking around again. This was nothing like the forests of home.
"Hello?!?" Rollingrock called. "Is anybody else here? Am I all alone?" he asked, fear suddenly striking him. What had happened? Where were his clan mates? Was he dead?

Ravenfrost looked up, dizzyily. The world was moving, and she wanted off, this ride was not making her already upset stomach better. Everything was a blur, she could only feel the heat of the sun pounding down on her black fur, She was dead so there was no need to move, death really sucked.
Had Starclan lied to her? They left her, here alone, well not really alone, but she didn't know that. The she-cat was beginning to loose all hope when she heard a familiar voice find its way into her ears. A friend? Or a enemy cat, but she was in Starclan..Or The darkforest, who knew, it was hard to tell.
The She-cat tried to stand up on her paws but stumbled over into the sand. "H-Hello!" SHe mewed desperately hoping someone would hear her.

Rollingrock's ears twitched, and turned. He pricked up, opening his mouth slightly to scent the air. He also recognized the voice, but the meow was so weak that he couldn't be sure of who it was. The scent told him that it was Thunderclan, and he relaxed slightly.
With careful, pain-filled steps he began to make his way toward the other cat, trying to stop himself from looking around the strange environment in which he found himself. Everything felt so dry, and the heat was stifling. His stomach churned as he finally reached her, and sat down, dipping his head in a strange form of obeisance. "I'm Rollingrock," he said grimly. "I am from Thunderclan, though I am not sure that we have met, formally."

"I Am Ravenfrost..Once Raventalon you might have known me from those days." Ravenfrost mewed softly, she needed water, "I-Its so hot..There has to be water...somewhere" The she-cat mewed, the sun pounding down on her black fur made it seem so much hotter then it normally was. Ravenfrost began to sit up, and look at this other tom, "Do you think there are others from Thunderclan?" She asked.
Her eyes looked aorund at this new terrian, Sand, lots of it..Rocks..No water...She needed that the most, water and a juicy mouse or two.

Rollingrock looked around the empty, deserted terrain. He hadn't hit the point of being truly thirsty yet, and he didn't know that there were ways to get moisture, even in the desert. There were several large cacti, but it didn't occur to him to rip at the flesh and get the moisture from within. As far as prey, there weren't going to be any mice around here, but that was also information that he hadn't determined quite yet.
"Do you know where we are?" he asked, turning back to the she-cat. "I keep thinking that I'm dreaming, but I'm pretty sure that dreams aren't quite this hot."

"I have no clue..and it is hot..too hot." She mewed all she saw was sky and rocks, "You think..there would be shelter somewhere?" She asked the tom, having no clue what she was going to do. "There are tons of rocks.." She mewed, maybe there could be a cave or something, but it didn't seem likely to her, seeing how they were here to probably die
Well, Gee Thanks a lot Starclan.

Rollingrock couldn't figure out how they'd wound up here. Once again he looked around. The stones seemed like their best bet for shelter. They would have to dig something out, like a den, and hope that the sand didn't fall in on them. "I guess we ought to get digging," he told the she-cat.

Ravenfrost nodded, "Won't the sand fall tho?" She asked swiping her paw through the sand, it seemed like they wouldn't be getting shelter, which is what they needed the most right now, that and some food and water. Boy water, that sounded great. "Maybe a old badger nest..wait are there badgers here?" She asked, it didn't seem likely, but hey who knew.

"Great scott!" The voice echoed over the sand, a voice that was quite unforgettable to anyone who knew its owner. Shortly after the cry sounded its owner crested a sand dune, his long gray fur matted and crusted with sand and sweat.
Being a long haired cat, Grayfox had always hated hot weather. Heat was the bane of his existence, rendering him mostly inept at everything. And this was hotter than anything he had ever experienced.
Stumbling closer to the other two cats, he thought he recognized ThunderClan's scent. Though it was hard to tell when unfamiliar smells and sounds were all around them. The Maine Coon came to a shuddering halt near them and gasped, "Grayfox, ThunderClan. You?" He was too exhausted for any real formal introduction.

"R-Ravenfrost, Thunderclan." She mewed, looking at the tom, "I-Is the whole clan here?" She asked looking around. Ravenfrost sighed, she hated it here it was too hot, and her black pelt was not helping. "Did you see any water nearby?" She mewed, her tail wrapping around her for comfort. She wanted to go hom, to feel the lush forest floor underneath her paws.
